NEXTHINGE / CLIENT GUIDES

Connect your REALTOR.ca DDF® feed

Authorize the right listing feed for the website Nexthinge is building for you.

Illustrated client guide · Verified in the live member portal October 24, 2026

Your provider is listed as Next Hinge.

At portal Step 3, search next, then click the Next Hinge name in the results row. Searching alone does not select it. The selected row turns blue. The directory currently displays nexthinge.com; select the provider name, then enter your own website domain at Step 4.

Orange outlines and numbered markers show where to click. The company phone number and Destination Owner name are hidden in all shared screenshots.

Before you start

Have your own member login, your final website address and your brokerage’s permission ready. Confirm the intended feed type and listing scope with Nexthinge. Keep any existing live feed running while a replacement is arranged.

1. Open the DDF tools and add a feed

Sign in at member.realtor.ca. Under CREA tools, click Data Distribution Facility (DDF®). On the DDF screen, click Data Feeds (marker 1), then + Add a Data Feed (marker 2). You do not need to change the sharing choices on the Settings page.

Click Data Feeds, then the Add a Data Feed button. Open larger image

2. Choose your feed type — portal Step 1

For an agreed shared-listings website, select National Shared Pool, as shown. For a site displaying only your listings, use Member Website Feed - My Listings. For agreed office listings, use Member Website Feed - One or More Offices. Available options depend on brokerage permission; the office option may show an additional office-selection step.

Choose the agreed feed type. National Shared Pool is selected in this example. Open larger image

3. Choose a third-party operator — portal Step 2

Click I will be engaging a 3rd Party Technology Provider to operate my Data Feed.

  3. Check that the row is highlighted blue before continuing. Do not click the website link to select the provider.

5. Enter your website — portal Step 4

In Website URL, enter the full address of the website where your listings will appear, for example https://yourdomain.ca. Use the final address agreed with Nexthinge, including www if applicable. Do not enter nexthinge.ca or nexthinge.com as your client website address.

1
Enter your own website URL. The Destination Owner name is hidden in this example. Open larger image

Destination Owner: your own account name should appear automatically. The example name is intentionally hidden. If the owner looks wrong, stop and confirm that you are using the correct account.

6. Choose the listing scope — portal Step 5

If your agreed setup uses all permitted content, keep I want the Data Feed to PROVIDE ALL available listings. For an agreed regional or specialist feed, choose the filters option and complete the extra filter choices shown. “All” means listings available under your feed permissions; it does not guarantee every Canadian listing.

7. Review, then complete your authorization

Click Click to review your Data Feed before Saving it. This opens a review; it is not the final save.

On the review screen, check the feed type, Next Hinge selection, your website URL, owner and filters. Read the current CREA agreement yourself and complete the save/confirmation controls shown in your account. The final agreement and confirmation screens are not pictured here.

8. Tell Nexthinge it is ready

Email [email protected] with your website domain, selected provider name, feed type and non-secret feed/reference number if shown. Keep passwords, member logins and feed secrets out of ordinary email. We will verify the connection, listing updates and required attribution before launch.

If something looks different

  • Next Hinge is missing: stop and contact [email protected]; do not select a different provider or a self-managed feed to bypass it.
  • No access or feed capacity: ask your brokerage or CREA for help. The live portal states a limit of five active National Shared Pool and Member Website feeds; do not delete an existing feed to make room without a transition plan.
  • Missing listings: confirm brokerage participation, feed type, filters and listing permissions.

Verification and official help

The entry path, form labels, Next Hinge directory entry and blue selected row were checked in the live portal on October 24, 2026. No feed was saved and no agreement was accepted during guide verification. Images are privacy-redacted captures of the same screens supplied by the owner. Final saving, approval timing and a new client’s listing connection remain account-specific.
