Connect your domain and business email

Move your website carefully, with your current email and other services accounted for.

Send us the starting details

  • The domain you want to use and your current website address.
  • The company where you registered the domain and the service that manages its DNS.
  • Your email provider and the public inbox that should receive website inquiries.
  • Any important subdomains, booking services, client portals or other tools connected to the domain.

How we connect the website

  1. Review the current setup. We identify the website records and the email and verification records that must stay in place.
  2. Agree on access. Use a provider’s invitation or delegated-access feature where available. You can also make specific DNS changes yourself using the records we supply.
  3. Approve the domain plan. We confirm the target records and any effect on existing services. Do not change nameservers or delete mail records before this review.
  4. Connect and verify. We check the website, HTTPS, the www address and any agreed redirects.
  5. Test email. We test the website’s inquiry destination and confirmation message. If business email setup is in scope, we test sending, receiving and replies separately.
A website domain is not an email mailbox.

Moving a website does not automatically move your inbox. Mailbox hosting, forwarding and sending arrangements are confirmed separately so your business email keeps working.

Keep your access secure

Keep passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes and private API keys out of ordinary email. We’ll agree a suitable access method if a connection needs a secret. You should retain ownership of your domain and keep account recovery details current.

Send setup questions to [email protected]. Include your domain and provider names, not passwords.
